You can delete your Calowly AI account at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from our systems, with limited exceptions described below.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — Delete from within the app (recommended)
This is the fastest method and processes your deletion immediately.
- Open Calowly AI on your device
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete My Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
If you signed in with email and password, you may be asked to re-enter your password to confirm.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app or your device, email us:

Include: The email address associated with your Calowly AI account
We will process your request within 7 business days and email you when complete.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:
- Your account profile (name, email, age, weight, height, goals, preferences)
- Your food, weight, exercise, water, and body composition logs
- Photos you uploaded (profile photo, progress photos)
- Your favourited foods and meal history
- Your AI coach conversation history
- Your authentication credentials
- App preferences stored on your device
What is retained
For legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention reasons, a limited set of records is retained after account deletion:
- Subscription and payment records are retained by our payment processor (RevenueCat) and the platform store (Google Play or Apple App Store) according to their data retention policies. These records are required for refund processing, chargeback disputes, and tax compliance. They are no longer linked to your identity in our systems.
- Anonymous server logs (Firebase Cloud Functions logs) may retain references to your former user ID for up to 30 days before automatic deletion. These logs contain no personal data and are not searchable by name or email.
- Anonymous crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are keyed to device install IDs, not user accounts, and are retained per Google's standard retention period.
Timeline
- In-app deletion: Immediate. Your data is removed from our active systems within seconds.
- Email-requested deletion: Processed within 7 business days from receipt.
- Backup retention: Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before being overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
After deletion
Once your account is deleted, you cannot recover it or any of its associated data. If you wish to use Calowly AI again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
If you had an active subscription at the time of deletion, the subscription remains active on your Google Play or Apple App Store account until its current period ends. To stop renewals, manage your subscription directly in the Play Store or App Store.
